both cars are very similar, but the Si has a little more room. the maintenance costs are also about the same as well. personally, i'd go for the RSX considering that it's probably less expensive and the insurance costs will definitely be cheaper. but both are really good cars and will last for decades., especially if you get the 6-speed version. *contrary to what the second answerer said, the RSX is on an entirely different platform with a much more rigid unibody and lower curb weight to allow for much better handling than the Civic. they're two completely different models, although the RSX is still sold as a Honda in other countries that don't feature the Acura brand.

Indeed, there are differing correct answers because performance levels will vary according to the year models, along with if you're comparing stock-vs.-stock or perhaps stock-vs.-modified versions.
Searches of the Internet reveal a pattern which is that these cars all feature 0-60 times in the mid-to-high 6 second range...in a stock configuration, these subcompact HONDA Motors models are all pretty close to one another. Personally, I'd go with whichever model suits your taste and budget best. IMO, you won't go wrong with any of the three.

if youre talking about factory setting.. STOCK VS STOCK the Acura RSX Type S would be the faster car.
but if youre talking about mods vs mods then it depends who has the better mods

in all honesty, my mother owns an rsx type-s and the car feels really slow in comparison to my integra (gsr motor w/ lsd tranny). if i had to choose between the two, id pick the integra over the rsx EVEN though the rsx is technically a newer integra...the integra just has a better all around look and feel..the rsx seems bubbly and sort of girly.

Which integra? Which civic Si? Which RSX-S for that matter? The 2007-2010 and newer civic Si is slightly quicker than the 2005-2006 RSX type S, which is slightly quicker than the 1996-2001 integra type R. The 99-00 and 02-05 civic Si were dog slow. The integra GS-R was quicker, but still slower than the others.

depends on the year of the Integras and Civic Si...
the Rsx is the successor of the integra...
the 02-06 rsx type s is basically the Same car as an 06-11 Civic Si... both basically make 200hp and 140 tq rev to 8k and have 6 speed trannys. both have k20 engines in the, main rela differences are that the 06-11 Si is Drive By Wire, and has a Helical LSD, where as the Rsx is Drive by Cable and has no LSD... The LSD is prob what gives the 06-11 Si the edge, but really this is a drivers race!
i cant believe someone said the 99-00 Civic Si was one of the slowest.. look it up, they still compare all new civics to that one. as That was considered a drivers car, was phenominal engine for its time..
98 integra type R would prob have advantage on them all as it has compareable specs to 06+ Si and 02-05 Rsx, but was and still is considered one of the Best handeling FWD cars ever made!
