damn 4 grand for mods. well first of all start with suspension. coilovers would be good so you can adjust to a desirable height, eibach or skunk2 recommended, then after that maybe a c-pillar bar and some strut bars, then for the motor keep it as is and just buy an after market head gasket cometic or buddy club or some other copper gasket (should be thicker than stock) also get arp head studs, after that you should be good with the motor maybe a hondata intake manifold gasket. i would recommend going turbo on this car get a t3/t04e turbo, if you got the money get a greddy or precision, but if your on a budget get a ebay one works for around 12k-25k miles you could buy a kit for around 800 dollars on ebay, then for fuel management get 450cc dsm injectors, a resistor box from 89-91 integra. an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a dsm fuel pump or a walbro fuel pump then a 2.5-3 inch exhaust with or without exhaust. that should put you in the 250-350 hp range depending on who tunes it and how much boost you have it in.
this is kinda long but if you follow this you will have a very fast integra that can take some damage if properly tuned

Suspension. Good coil overs are always a great place to start. From there, a good set of tires will go a long way. If you want power modifications first, you could do your basic bolt ons, ie. intake, header, and full catback exhaust. Or, You could buy a turbo kit. If you are going to do anything power-wise, make sure you do research before hand.

3 to 4 grand in that car won't go far, if you want things done right. if the car already runs fine, do absolutely nothing to it, other than normal maintenance. save your 4 grand, invest and work hard, and sooner than you think, you'll be rolling an s2000 instead of the same ratty integra. women will flock in your direction.

you have enough to throw in a b16a2 complete swap with tranny and ecu, you will probably still have enough to throw in some cams, cam gears, a pully kit and an intake, your mileage is too high for a boosted app, unless you run low boost...by the way vtec will bring pleasure to your ears

thats enough to get your engine rebiult and put on a turbo...or you could just sell it and use that money to get yourself a newer car...you got 3-4g plus another 3-5g from the sale of your car...so thats good enough to down a s2k....used 2000 s2ks run in the 12g's so just save up a little more to get one...

you could swap out engines or rebuild yours. i had 250k+ miles on mine any i raced it all the time. if you rebuild upgrade the internals then your ready to start a turbo build too!
