What is the best aftermarket brands for an Acura RSX-S?

Question

I was wondering what the best Intake, Exhaust, ECU Reflash, and Turbocharger brands/models were for the Acura RSX-S. I hear a lot about the AEM V2 intake, but some have the Injen, K-Pro and Hondata, etc. Please help!!!!

Best Intake is the Mugen Air Intake Box. AEM V2 and injen is second best, doesnt matter which you pick they both can be short or cold air intake.



Exhaust depends which name brand ones you want, most work the same, the bigger it is, the more hp you get.



ECU reflash = KPro is the best because you can reprogram it, but it is also bad because it *****' your immobilizer (your key chip thing, makes it easy for thefts to steal your car). Kpro is Hondata.



Turbocharge = usually the big name brands are the best.

I think it depends on how loud you wanna go I had a pair of 10 inch 600 watts in a honda accord and they really did the job but if you want to go really loud then I recommend to ask a professional even if you don't buy from him it will help a lot since he will tell you about the subs and the best amplifier to power your subs I try sony explode too also you don't say if you have factory system or updated clearly aftermarket players give better sound I hope this help you don't have to be complicated just make sure what you really want so that's what you really get

well on my 02 type-s ive got a fujita cold air intake and a megan cat-back exhaust. K-pro (by hondata) is the best ECU for the k-series engines by far! and as far as turbos, Greddy, Turbonetics, and so-on like the other guy said, the big named brands. Buying a turbo though you want to buy a kit which will include everything you need to install,, including piping, the turbo, intercooler, etc... I'm happy with the gains I've gotten from my mods, and im looking to get a megan raciing header and k-pro soon too! I've also got a stage 2 clutch, but haven't got it installed yet, im waitin on the OEM one to wear out first.

I have an 02 type s and I have a Greddy Ti-C on mine. I Love it. The Ti-C comes with a silencer that you can take out if you want maximum sound and it also has titanium tip, so when you do put turbo in your car, it will still bring quality sound. I literaly felt the difference in stop go acceleration. I am getting a Greddy turbo for it as well, I dont know about cold air intake but i live the exhaust and the turbos are awesome. Hard to say what is 'best' is. If you're just looking for HP, I'd suggest:



Injen or AEM CAI

A decent quality race header (I personally have the Jackson Racing header)

Any aftermarket exhaust with larger diameter piping

RBC manifold

K PRO





But in my opinion, I think my Mugen + Samco intake setup is the 'best':

I also think a reflash is the 'best' suited for my setup as opposed to Kpro.
